How to clean your blinds

Wooden, Venetian, Vertical and Woven Woodcraft Blinds

These blinds can be regularly cleaned with a soft clean cloth, a feather duster or a vacuum cleaner with brush attachment. Very dirty slats can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

Warning: Please be aware that even if the wood is sealed, water or excessive dampness can produce can wrap the slats or even produce discoloration.

Roller and Pleated Blinds

These shades are more hard to clean due to the nature of the fabric. In order to maintain a clean blind you can use the vacuum cleaner and attach a brush to it. You can also wipe over the surface with a dry sponge. Since most fabrics today are synthetic, they can be cleaned with a clean damp cloth or sponge and a minute drop of fabric detergent as well. Before using detergent make sure it's a syntetic fiber, otherwise you can end up having more stains on it.

Please be aware that some stains may not come out at all.
